The first generation of modules has used the well-established thermoelectric material bismuth telluride (Bi2Te3) with its high Seebeck coefficient and good temperature stability as the active material. For future module generations other thermoelectric materials can be used, thanks to the compatibility of the production process. 
ESPRYX™ modules are versatile, robust, high-temperature resistant, can be produced in customized sizes, planar shapes, and performance. And thanks to the continuous and automatized production process such modules can be produced on a commercial scale.
